Privacy policy

What we collect

Account: your email or phone number, name, timezone and, for creators, shop details.

Purchases and payouts: what you bought or sold, amounts, and payout account details. Card and bank details are handled by our payment partner, not stored by Klaasi.

Identity checks: creators and partners who withdraw money are checked by our payment partner (Bachs); we keep the result.

Use of Klaasi: lesson progress, community posts, messages to Support, and basic visit information (country from your internet address, the page you came from, device type).

Why we use it

To run your account, deliver what you bought, pay creators and partners, prevent fraud, answer support requests, keep the service secure, and send the emails you need (sign-in codes, receipts, reminders).

Creators can send you follow-up emails about a product you bought or started buying. Every such email has a one-tap unsubscribe link.

Prices and your country

We use your internet address to tell which country you are in, so we can show prices in naira or dollars. We don't use it to track you.

Who we share it with

The creator you buy from sees your name, email and what you bought, so they can serve you.

Service providers that run parts of Klaasi for us: hosting and database (Railway), network and email routing (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), payments and identity checks (Bachs), and when switched on: SMS (Termii), live video (LiveKit), video and file storage (Bunny) and AI help for creators (Anthropic).

If a creator connects their own tools (for example an email list or ad pixels), information is sent to those tools only as described on their page and, for pixels, only after you allow it.

We don't sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use a few cookies needed for Klaasi to work: to keep you signed in (klaasi_session), to keep sign-in and Admin codes safe, to remember your shop when you work in a team (klaasi_ws), to credit a partner who sent you (klaasi_ref), to show you the same version of a page during a test (klaasi_vid), and to save lessons for offline use.

A creator's ad pixels only load if you choose Allow on their page (klaasi_track).

How long we keep it

We keep account and purchase records while your account is open and as long as the law requires for money records. Messages to email lists stop when you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by writing to [email protected]. Some records (like completed payments) must be kept by law.

You can unsubscribe from any creator's emails with the link at the bottom of each email.

Security

Sign-in uses one-time codes, sensitive tokens are encrypted, and Admin needs a second step. No system is perfect; tell us at [email protected] if you notice a problem.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you before it applies.
