Getting started on Klaasi: open your shop and add your first product

A step-by-step guide for your first day on Klaasi: sign in with a code, tell us what you sell, pick your web address, add your first product and share your shop link.

Welcome to Klaasi. This guide walks you through your first day, from signing in to sharing your shop link with your first buyers. You can do every step on your phone, and most people finish in a few minutes.

You don't need a password, a website designer or any technical skills. If you can send a WhatsApp message, you can open a shop on Klaasi.

Step 1: Sign in with your email

Use the code we send you

  1. Open klaasi.com/login on your phone or computer.
  2. Type your email address and tap Send my code.
  3. Check your email for a 6-digit code. It expires after 10 minutes.
  4. Type the code on the Enter your code screen and tap Sign in.

That's it. There's no password to remember. Each time you sign in, we send a new code.

Can't see the code? Check your Spam or Promotions folder. If it's there, tap "Not spam" so future emails reach your inbox.

Or continue with Google

If you see a Continue with Google button on the sign-in page, you can use your Google account instead of an email code.

Never share your sign-in code with anyone, not even someone who says they work for Klaasi. Our team will never ask for it.

Step 2: Tell us what you'd like to do

After your first sign-in, Klaasi asks What would you like to do first? You'll see three choices:

  • Open my shop if you want to sell.
  • Become a partner if you want to earn a commission by sharing other people's products.
  • Go to my library if you only want to buy.

You can do all three with the same account. To sell, tap Open my shop.

Step 3: Set up your business

Pick what you sell

The Set up your business screen asks What do you sell? Pick everything that fits:

  • Products: fashion, beauty, perfume, gadgets, groceries
  • Food & drinks: restaurant, kitchen, cakes, drinks
  • Digital products: ebooks, templates, files, presets
  • Courses & classes: online courses, live classes, community
  • Services & bookings: coaching, consulting, salon, tutoring

Your answer decides how your website, menu and dashboard are set up. A restaurant gets a menu. A course creator gets lessons and a classroom. You can change this later.

Choose your name and web address

  1. Type your Business or brand name. This is what buyers see at the top of your shop.
  2. Choose your Web address. Use 3 to 30 lowercase letters, numbers or dashes. If you leave it empty, Klaasi makes one from your business name.
  3. Tap Create my website.

If the address you want is taken, Klaasi tells you, and you can try another. Short and easy to say out loud works best.

When it's done, you'll see your shop address. It looks like klaasi.com/yourname. This is your shop link, and it works straight away.

Step 4: Follow your checklist

Your dashboard home shows a box called Get your shop ready. It counts how many steps you've done. Each step helps you get your first sale:

  1. Create your shop (already done).
  2. Add your first product.
  3. Put a product on sale.
  4. Verify your identity (needed to withdraw).
  5. Add where we should pay you.
  6. Share your shop link.

Shops that sell things you deliver may also see Set your delivery fees, and everyone can Make your website yours.

You don't need to do them all today. But the first three get you selling, and the identity check and payout account make sure you can take your money out later.

Step 5: Add your first product

Digital products (courses, ebooks, files, coaching, classes)

  1. Tap New product on your dashboard.
  2. What are you selling? Pick one: a course, an ebook, a file, a coaching call, a live class, a membership or a bundle. This decides the page design and what buyers get.
  3. Name it and say what it does. Say the result buyers get, not just the topic. "Phone photography that sells" is better than "Photography course".
  4. Set your price. You can set a naira price, a dollar price, or both. Buyers in Nigeria always see naira and everyone else sees dollars. If you leave one empty, Klaasi works it out from the other.
  5. Tap Create product.

Next you'll see Product created with the next step for your product type: Add your lessons, Add your files and cover, Add your call times or Set the class date.

Things you deliver, or food

If you sell clothes, gadgets or meals, tap New item or product (or Add a product / Add a dish). Add photos, the price, sizes or add-ons and how many you have.

Give buyers something to receive

A product with nothing to deliver stays hidden from buyers. A course needs at least one lesson. An ebook or file needs its download. Klaasi shows a note like Hidden: nothing to deliver yet until you add it, so buyers never pay for an empty product.

Put it on sale

When your product is ready, tap Put on sale on your products list. You'll see It's on sale now.

Klaasi gives every digital product a designed cover from its title. You can upload your own picture any time in Selling tools.

Step 6: Make your shop look like you

Open Logo, bio & links in your dashboard menu to add your photo or logo, a short bio and your social links. Then open Website editor to choose a theme, change your colours and add sections.

Your dashboard home shows Your shop: with your link and a Share on WhatsApp button. Here are good places to share it:

  • Your WhatsApp status and business profile
  • Your Instagram, TikTok and X bio
  • Groups where you're already helpful (with permission)
  • Your email signature

Buyers tap the link, pay by card, bank transfer or mobile money, and get their product straight away. You don't need to check payment screenshots or send files by hand.
